Welcome to the Sussex Inter-League 2008. Any League in the Affiliated Leagues section is eligible to enter team(s) to compete in which provides the opportunity to qualify for the National Inter-League Finals in Great Yarmouth in April 2009. There will also be an Interleague Knockout Cup competition which those teams that register will be eligible to participate in which carries a further opportunity to attend National Finals in October 2008.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY PLAYERS YOU HAVE WHO PLAY ON THE IPA/REGION TOUR OR PLAY COUNTY HAVE PAID £20 REGISTRATION AND THIS INCLUDES INTERLEAGUE.
ALL PLAYERS WHO ARE NOT REGISTERED ARE REQUIRED TO PAY A £10 ANNUAL FEE AND NOT £20 AS STIPULATED ON THE REGISTRATION FORM. PLEASE AMEND THIS ON THE FORM AND CLEARLY ADVISE SHEILA DURHAM, REGISTRATIONS SECRETARY OF THIS. REGISTRATION FORMS ARE TO NOT TO BE SENT TO MYSELF.
It is important for Captains to familiarise themselves with what is required of a Captain from completing result sheets to ensuring players are registered in the correct manner and timeframe as failure to do so will result in the deduction of points. All result sheets must be sent directly to myself within 7 days of the match played date.
I will send the league table and updates to each team by E-Mail and so please could you either send me an E-Mail with your details or include this information on your first results sheet that would be great. Results will also be published on the Sussex website.
Please note that if you do qualify for National Finals then you will be required to supply full details and statistics for your players to demonstrate they have played in 50% of matches in the local league you are representing (obtainable from your league secretary). If you are unable to supply this information or demonstrate individuals have played in the required level of matches then these players will NOT be eligible to participate in the finals. No exceptions will be made.
